Jurassic Park
This is the post I never thought I’d write. Only after my Dad and little Sister forced me to watch Jurassic Park with them did I then decide to try the book. And while the book is actually more descriptive then the movie I enjoyed it more as well. Some background, I hate horror and can’t handle suspense. The worst part of the movie for me was when the boy was on the fence while it was being turned on. Also I do not like having to wait and see who dies next. Or when a book’s plot is solely see who survives. Anyway, who lives and dies are totally different in the books and movies. For one thing Isla Nublar was not evacuated before the storm, so a total of five workers are missing by the end of the night. Main characters are fairly different as well, besides the two doctors (side note Grant is a widower and has no interest in his younger student Ellie, though the kids ask him if he is) there is Nedry, Gennero the firm rep, Regis the Head PR, Dr. Wu, Malcolm, Arnold the park engineer ...
