Film to Pen: An Experiment in Fan fiction (Spider-Man AU) Chapter 4

Guess I scared the bots off with my last post, so Thanks those who stayed you know who you are. Unless your the last bot standing, then you don't know anything. Chapter 4 Later that night I was on the floor of my room trying to see how much I had lost from my Spider-Man file. Ten articles, four photos, and one of my first maps of Spider-Man activity. It was just red dots for a sighting, now my most recent map was not only color coordinated by month but squares meant a fight and circles meant swing by sightings etc. Suddenly the door knob turned. I jump up grabbing the guard rail to the top bunk intending to lay low on the mattress, but instead I keep going, hitting the ceiling and sticking. Meanwhile before I can fully process what just happened Hey enters the room, probably wanting to make sure I was fine after everything today. He seemed nice, but I learned long ago those were the ones you had to watch for. I could feel every hair in my scalp as my braid hung down just brushing h...

Film to Pen: A Fan-Fiction Experiment (Spider-Man AU) Chapter 3

Thank you all four readers, at this rate I should have 12 readers by the last chapter. Most of which should hopefully not all be bots ;{) Chapter 3 The next morning I got ready for another new school. My record for shortest time spent at a new school was half a day. In the fourth grade I got a teacher to quit and was kicked out when I brought a spider's egg sack to class and it hatched all over his desk when he confiscated my pencil bag for coloring during lecture. Apparently he was a humongous arachnophobe . I didn't have any books for this school yet so I packed my backpack with only a notebook (for doodling), my personal project folder, and a sack lunch Paco handed out to all us kids as we left. The twins turned right at the corner and I followed Wanda and Hey to the left and presumably to the high school. Or not, sometimes other kids in group homes had lead me off wrong roads then ditched me so I'd be late. Or just lost, with some of them it was hard to tell. I never di...

Film to Pen: An Experiment in Fan-Fiction (Spider-man AU) Chapter Two.

Thank you all three of you for reading Chapter One. It's better then none. ;{) So without further chatter here's Chapter Two. (Also I don't have a lot of doodles for it, bit if one corresponds with a chapter I'll put it at the end) Chapter Two The new house is bigger than the Tipton's, but not by much. At least the porch isn't covered with any stucco. A short woman opens the front door with a big smile on her face, "Welcome, Bienviendos! Come in, come in. We are so excited to have you staying with us,". Inside there's a staircase full of kids to greet me. It leads up to what I assume is the second level of the house. The kids are arranged by height, a boy easily two feet taller than the woman who greet me is at the top of the stairs. He has a thick mohawk and is messing with what looks like a jumble of wires and a plyers. The step under him is a girl who looks older at least from what I can see of her beneath the curtain of her light hair. Below he...

Film to Pen: An experiment in Fan-Fiction (Spider-Man AU)

In this experiment I will be posting every week a chapter of my Spider-Man Alternate Universe fan-fiction. Don't worry I already wrote it all, there are ten chapters and an epilogue. This should last ten weeks in theory and will continue despite if anyone reads it or not. (I'm guessing very few will, but miracles happen). Author's Note: Normally I shy away from Fan-Fiction. It seems to breed all sorts of weird and inappropriate things and as my brother says it is a bit of a cop out to use someone else's characters instead of making your own. But this story kept jiggling at the back of my head ever since I watched my first Spider-Man film (it was Andrew Garfield). After I watched Homecoming and the original Toby McGuire my brother told me that in the comics and the second Garfield movie the Gwen Stacy dies. That got me thinking, how does Spider-Man cope with the fact that he seems to save everyone, but those closest to him? What if he tried to have a family? Would it w...
