Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy
You have probably heard of the book by Adam Douglas. What you probably haven’t heard of is the movie starring Martin Freeman. Because it SUCKED. The plot was off by a lot, Martin did a well enough job, but I will start at the beginning. It started with a song. You read that right, a Song. The dolphins sing their final good-bye. If I thought it couldn’t get weirder it did, Zaphod’s second head and to a lesser extent his third arm were very disturbingly placed. I won’t even try to explain the sound it makes when it pops up. Another thing, way too many Vogons! And creatures only mentioned once, also who was that Vice-President lady? The green bee sneeze religion planet should never have been a destination and the arc of it ends rather abruptly too. I can kind of understand why they changed Zaphod’s reason for stealing the Heart of Gold, but he did not kidnap himself. Plus the Heart of Gold should not look like an eyeball, and Marvin well he was okay, but how could that chunky robot stump in a circle after his leg was stolen by the Kricket robots and left in the swamp. Honestly the only good thing, and somewhat recognizable as the book’s plot was the animation of the book’s entries. But they don’t even mention “Mostly Harmless” and Zaphod did not sign the order that destroyed Earth it was a conspiracy of physiatrists who don’t want the Question to ruin their practices. And Earth isn’t saved, by the dolphins not some mark 2, until book four! Honestly I almost have to invent a score lower then Major for this. But it is definite proof ghosts do not exist because if they did authors would be the first ones back to avenge their slaughtered masterpieces.
